Heating an average house with just 4 tons pellets annually can replace 2000 m³ of natural gas. The 2,7 tons of CO₂ saved is like flying from Stockholm to Brussels, and back -- about ten times!

Unlike many pellets-producers, with our integrated pellet production, no extra transport is needed for our wood raw materials in producing pellets. We take responsibility for the entire sustainable supply chain, without any unnecessary transport! And without any harmful emissions.

Some pellets-producers might transport their raw materials up to 150 km or more to their production sites. Not Stora Enso. Our premium pellets have a 30% lower carbon footprint thanks to us using only wood processing residues right from our own operations, without having to transport them.
